The Frank Casey name has been part of New Zealand menswear for generations. On returning from serving in WW2 Frank Casey snr opened his menswear business in Onehunga. With a sharp eye for style and a commitment to quality, he built a reputation for dressing Kiwi men with care, craftsmanship, and pride.
Growing up in that world, his son, Frank Casey (pictured), inherited both the passion and the expertise. After decades working in his father’s menswear store, taking it over and running his own successful menswear business, Frank saw a new opportunity: suit hire done better. He noted a gap in the market for high‑quality, stylish suits paired with genuine service — the kind that makes every customer feel confident and looked after.
Frank Casey Formal Suit Hire was born, and for more than 35 years it has set the standard for suit hire in New Zealand. In 2006, the family legacy continued when Frank’s daughter, Rachel Casey, took ownership after a 20 year apprenticeship working in the business and having grown up around the brand, she shares the same dedication to customer experience, Rachel has carried the company forward while honouring the values her father and grandfather built it on: quality, fit, service, and a genuine love for helping people look their best.
